Almost every (web) application talks to other applications through APIs. There's SOAP, REST, Web-Crawling and a bunch of other stuff that tends to not work the way we want it to. Most of the time, there's an LWP::UserAgent involved somewhere down the line. Debugging these things used to be hard and annoying. Thanks to LWP::ConsoleLogger, now it isn't.
