Note: If you're planning to take the train from Glasgow to Euston on the weekend following the conference, Euston station is closed that weekend and Virgin Trains will all terminate at Milton Keynes or Preston). Virgin recommend traveling to Kings Cross via Edinburgh (which adds about ninety minutes to the journey, but Virgin West Coast is one of the worst train operators in the country, so at least you'll manage to avoid them.).
